Working Out

So, me and my sister-in-law Angie are working out together. I would like to lose 20 pounds and she just wants to tone up. I have been working out alone for like 3 weeks, and now that I have a partner, we go to the gym on mon, wed, and fri afternoons. And I have already lost 1 pound. I know that isnt much, but for me, it is huge. I have never been a big "working out person" okay, to tell you the truth, I never have worked out, I just always had a high metabolism. But now, my body is changing and I've gained some weight around the middle! I am now not gaining anymore, i am just mainting my weight, and hopefully loosing some! I am so excited to be doing this on my own. It feels great!

Anniversary

Today is our anniversary. We got married a year ago today. I just want to tell my husband how much I love him, and he is the best husband ever! We have had so many fun times this last year with honeymoons, to transports, to seeing old friends in Arizona, to going to aunts and uncles homes and getting to know them better, and visiting brothers in another state for baby blessings, to just being home in bed laughing. He is always makin me laugh, and he cooks great food, and he tells me everyday how beautiful I am, and how much he loves me. He is the greatest.


As you can see we had a very beautiful day. I loved every moment, and thank you to all the guests that came and those of you from out of town, it was a very special day for us. It has been magic ever since we got married. Here is to many, many, many more!!!

Natural Roots

Sammy has a friend who is in a band called Natural Roots, its a reggae band. They are awesome, they are out of Salt Lake City, and they sing some awesome songs. This is there website

So my brother in law jeff is trying to sell his tickets he bought for this AUGUST the 27th. He has two tickets for sell for 50.00 a piece. I dont know the seats or anything, but if you are interested please leave a comment and we can talk about it. It is in the salt lake area, i will get more info if you want to go to the concert, but please tell your friends and family, jeff needs to sell them for the money to go on a work trip. please comment for me. and just so you know first come first serve!!

Lagoon

So yesterday Sam, Omini, and I went to Lagoon. We wanted to take Omini there before he started school back up. Omini had so much fun, he was running from ride to ride, and let me tell you how NOT busy it was on a random thursday day! I mean there was lines becuase next week is the last week it is open all week, then it will just switch to weekends. I didnt take any pictures of us, I forgot my camera! But we went on spider a few times, and wicked a few times, and we went on rocket, and samuri and we even spent some time at lagoona beach! We went with a lot of family, we met up with Richie and Angie, and Spencer and Beka came for a bit, and Mom and Katie and Abi and Jack came and we brought Kaylee and Omini and Sam and Me. It was so fun to see everyone around the park and go on rides with everyone. Omini is getting used to the family and he is just admiring uncle spencer more and more everyday! It is so cute, because Spencer can see how alike that they were, when Spencer was Omini's age. He is so patient with Omini it just melts my heart. But we ended up having a lot of fun, and we were so worn out by the end of the day.

India

So as most of you know, I nanny my sisters 2 kids (taylor is now 2 and Kaylee is now 5) and for the next two weeks she is in INDIA!!!

She is in the city called Chennai. Its circled. But she is ALL the way over there! How random, for her job she sets up new hospital's with there radiology programs for X-rays and stuff.

what was i doing!

so sam just read the blog, and he said that no one will want to read my blog because it seems like i am just complaining. HUH, i was not. I was just saying how my life was. Just really crazy! Well here is an uplifting blog! I just got my divorce letter from my x husband, so now sam and I are just having temple prep classes while my divorce goes thru. Then we too will be sealed in the temple. How exciting is that. So we will have to keep of you posted so you know when to come. That and..... Sam finally passed all his tests to get into the sheriff's office. He had to do a physical test, a reading writting test, and then a test and answer questions in front of 4 people and if he passed all that, then he can apply for a job in the sheriff's office. HE PASSED!!! so now we are just in the process of applying for jobs! We are so excited for him to start this career in his life. What a great guy! I am so impressed and happy for him and these choices in his life he is making. i love my husband so much. Way to go babe!!!

Winding Down

So this week has been so crazy! Here I sit on a Saturday night, with the kids I'm watching, my husband, and my step son Omini. I'm watching them play some video game and I am finally getting a chance to relax! I have been running like a chicken with my head cut off. We had the ward camp out last night, and Sam and Omi went for alone time. I stayed here with the two boys and man did they stay up late. We woke up really early and we went up Big Cottonwood Canyon for a breakfast with the ward. After breakfast we went for a hike. The hike started at about 9. Um hello, who hikes that early, especially me! Plus we all know how I do hiking, thats how I broke my ankle. So again here I sit watching these boys and I am so relaxed and have no desire right now to have kids anymore. :) This has been some birth control but it is almost over and now we have some extra money. YAY. I have been reading the Breaking Dawn book, which I only have about 100 pages left, and its not as good as i had hoped. I feel like I have to keep reading to keep up with everyone else. Well, I think that everyone is behind me since I started early. So hurry up people so we can talk about it. Well that's all for now!
