Missouri

So sam went on a transport to Missouri, and he asked his boss if I could go too. That was really exciting for me, because I've never been to Missouri, And I was just excited to go somewhere for free! So we headed out there, and for those of you who have never been out there, it is so beautiful. It was lush green, and so many hills, absolutely no mountains which was weird for me, and the best part of all, there was wild turtles that were crossing the highway. If you didnt know, I absolutely love turtles, they are my favorite animal. They were just wild and about the circumference of a mason jar. They are so cute, and they were trying to hurry across the high way so not to get ran over. Then we did the drop off of the child at the most beautiful lake. The lake was surrounded by lush green hills, and big hotels and so much to do if you stayed for a week or so. It was so beautiful, then we caught a flight back to utah, but we had a 3 hour lay over in vegas. Which we were so bored, we tried that oxygen bar, which we felt no different. They are supposed to help with jet lag, and if your tired, to wake you up, and more energy, but i felt nothing, and i didnt like the smell of mine, but hey, that was fun to try something new. And that was so fun to go out to another state with my husband, and travel like he does. I wish we could have stayed longer and just taken in more sights. oh well, i guess i am off to washington with him later this week. that will be fun.

Wolverines vs the Vipers

Sam plays up against this guy who seriously hates him. He always tries to choke sam, and pull his shirt, grab his face mask, and all sorts of things, this is why they fight!!! Yes, last year in the pre season game, sam was fighting with this guy, and got caught and he got kicked out of the 2nd half of the game. Not really proud of that one, and this time when they played they still fought, but didnt get caught. here are some of my favorite pictures.

Sam's football

On saturday April 12, the Wolverines played against the Cache County Bears. Sam did so good, there wasn't very many pictures of him. But this is the score and some other pictures. They did win, and "Da Bears" are a hard team to beat, and most importantly they cheat!!!!

EVERYONE WITH KIDS, AND EVERYONE WHO WANTS TO LOOK, BUT DEFINITLY EVERYONE WITH KIDS PLEASE CHECK THIS WEBSITE OUT. It tells you who is a sex offender in your area. Very easy to use. Just type in your address, city and state and it pulls up a map. You can see for miles who's in your area. AND the best part is... on most of them you can see their picture, there address, and what they were convicted for. Please those with kids check it out. Keep our kids safe....

Sleepovers at 31??

I guess I should start off with Sammy's best friend, Sila, from years back. He called today to say that he is moving away. We already live so far away from them that it is hard to see them when we want. Us living in Holladay and them living in Spanish Fork (for those of you not familiar with Utah, that is about an hour to an hour and a half away, depending on who's driving!) Now they are moving like 3 hours away from that! They say they're moving the beginning of May. Needless to say, after Sammy heard the news today, he decided that since they are moving in like a month, he wanted to spend as much time as he could with Sila. They both took work off tomorrow and Sammy went down to the Tonga's to play video games all night and have a sleepover. I know I know but they are best friends!!!

The Tonga's have been there for Sammy through everything. It is really sad for us to see them go. We are so close to their daughters Mylee and Makensi. You probably have seen their pictures on here but here's some more. They have just been such an important part of his life. I am so grateful for their friendship to My Sammy. I will miss you Tonga's!! We will visit as much as we can. We love you....

Me and Sam with Mylee the littler one and Makensi

Best friend Sila over Sammy's right shoulder

This is the only picture that I have of Melissa. The lady in blue is Sammy's REAL sister (not adopted) and then it is Sila and Melissa (in pink) and their two girls.

Kevin and Kaylene and boys!

We just got back from Houston. We went down for the baby blessing of sweet little baby Joey.

He has the best temperment and is such a sweet baby. He would only really get upset at night time, when he just had too much stimulation. He has the cutest strawberry blond curls and big blue eyes and just a sweet, sweet, baby. I held him most of the weekend and Kaylene's mom and my mother-in-law had to ask me if I would share. That was kinda embarrassing, but oh well. I knew it would be a while before I got to see him again, so I wanted my turn. Kaylene's mom was there for the blessing so I didn't really feel that bad for her.
Yes, Sam and I did travel a lot there in March. It was fun and now we are home to stay for a while, until we go to Lake Powell in July. You can already see my count down. Actually I think we go to Park City for a week just before that. That will be fun and nice for me to take Kaylee and Taylor too. Just some swimming and games and right up there by the Alpine Slide. I love Park City.
I want to put more pictures up of our weekend in Houston, with the Texas Steele's, but I forgot my camera, so I will have to steal some pictures as soon as Kaylene post's them. I have this cute one of me and my mother-in-law.
We had a great time! We went out to dinner on Friday night to Olive Garden, Sam told them it was my birthday so they sang to me again! Then on Saturday we went to Galveston and had a lot of fun there walking along pier 21. We looked at all the big oil ships and then we went down to the beach. Watched some guys surf and played in the water. I held baby Joey most of the time, he didnt like the wind and me either, so we stayed inside this fishing store on the end of the pier. That was pretty cool. Then we went home and had an early night in, and on Sunday was the blessing. It was great. We invited the missionaries over for dinner with us and we all took some pictures and then we hung out and went home on Monday morning. VERY early monday morning, I might add. We left at 3:30 Utah time, to get the the airport, and left on the plane at 5 Utah time. That was so early. Thanks Kevin and Kaylene for the fun weekend. WE hope to see you guys soon!!!
