Utah Football Game

Sam and I went to a football game on Saturday night, because one of his close friends is a sophmore this year, and he was going to get to play in the game. It was so much fun. We had 5 row seats right on the 5th yard line. It was so much fun, we were right in front of the cheerleaders, I got to see my friend Ryan who is a male cheerleader. In this pic he is bottom left
This is Ryan and his throwing partner

Then at half time, we went to get a hot dog and some nacho's and we see this guy, who we've seen before and has tricep implants. I did actually see the scar. My friend Whitney Mapson remembers him!!

Then in the 3rd quarter, Toby made his debut! We were so excited of him and so proud of him! It was so fun to see him actually get out on the field.in this pic he is the one with his leg brought up half way. near the back of the huddle

Then after the game, Sam and I were able to go down on the field, and talk to him and give a hug. We were so proud of Toby!

Also what a fun date night sam and I had. It was nice to do something we both like, I like watching Cheerleaders, he likes watching the game, and we're just having fun together.

My hubby

I saw this on my cousin Liz's blog and I thought I would like to do it too. I always find myself just staring at sam, I always tell him that I have his whole face memorized. Every freckle, every wrinkle, every hair. It is sort of an inside joke betweeen me and sam, and my family just laughes, but I tell him I love him so much I want to take out one of his bicep muscles and keep it in a jar next to my bed and pet it at night, or I love him so much I want to take a vile of his blood and wear it around my neck (like angelina Jolie). Its just jokes, and kinda gruesome, But I do, I love my husband so much I could just sqeeze him to death!!!

1. Where did we meet? Well, the first time, we met at chili's with our friends who were tryin to get us together.

2. How long did you date before you were married? lets see, I think I met him in may, but then we didnt talk again till end of July 2006. So if you count from our dinner in May, a year and 3 months

3. How long have you been married? We got married on Aug 22, 2007, and we are currently working out a date for when we are getting sealed!

4. What does he do that surprises you? oh huh, he always surprises me. He brings me gifts home from his transports, or sends me texts just sayin he's thinking of me.

5. What is your favorite feature about him? Haha, he always laughs at me, but I think its his nose! I love his cute poly nose!!

6. What is your favorite quality about him? I would have to say his sense of humor. He can always make me laugh, and I love laughin!

7. What is his nickname for you? Babe, or hon!

8. What is his favorite color? Lets see, its red, and carolina blue! and sometimes black

9. What is his favorite food? Anything, and I mean ANYTHING poly food!!

10. What is his favorite sport?oh, thats so easy, it would definately be football. But he also loves baseball and softball. And golf!!

11. Who said I love you first? We didnt say I love you for a while, we used to just say alofa, which means love in Samoan. Then just one night he said I love you to me!

12. When and where was your first kiss? OH, that, well, it was at Michelle and Jonathans house on the couch, we were up talking late and who knows where those two went, and he just came and kissed me!

13. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? We love movies, or going out to eat. And doing fun stuff, like boating, and mini golf and especially Utah football games!
14. How many kids and what ages? well one for him but a step for me, he is 11.

15. Does he have any hidden talents? He can play the piano really well, and he sings really well. He can tune any instrument, I think he has very good pitch, because he just can hear it, and say that its off tune.

16. How old is he? uhh, should I really say?? 31.

17. What kind of music does he like? oh wow, if you know my hubby at all you will know this, it is definately reggae. That is all his plays in the car, sometimes I can get him to switch it up and play hip hop or stuff on the radio, but its mostly CD's his friends make him.

18. What do you admire about him? He is a really hard worker at what he does. He loves to help people in anyway, if your his friend, your his friend for life.

19. What is his favorite past time? football, and South Carolina!

20. Is he going to read this? If I tell him I posted he will!

Love you honey!

My Dear Friend Heather

My childhood friend Heather has passed away last night. She had a heart transplant when we were 8 years old, and just 2 months ago, she came down with cancer in her lymph nodes. And from all the medication she was on, it spiraled out of control really fast. And last night, we recieved the call that she had passed away. She had done chemo the beginning of this month, and it didnt work, she was already in a stage 4 cancer. She was admitted to the hospital 3 weeks ago, and never came home, they were pretty much waiting for her to pass away.

Heather Lynn Krantz 1984 ~ 2008 Heather Lynn Krantz was born to Randy and Susan Krantz on May 25, 1984. She returned to our Heavenly Father on September 27, 2008 due to complications from Post Transplant Lymphoma. She attended Olympus Jr. High and Olympus High School and received her GED in 2001. Heather was an amazing young lady who survived many trials in her life from birth. She was the fifth child who received a heart transplant in 1992 at Primary Children's Medical Center. She overcame many adversities in relation to the transplant. She was the inspiration for her mother to create the Youth Transplant Kamp sponsored by the National Kidney Foundation for children with major organ transplants. Heather had a keen sense of humor and loved to collect things from beanie babies at a young age to old record albums in her adult life. She was always on top of the newest technical gadget on the market. Heather was wise beyond her years and those who served her learned from her hardships. They often said that Heather was their favorite person. She loved her family, especially her nephew and niece Josh and Addie. She loved going to lunch and running errands with Grandmother. She will be sorely missed.Heather is survived by her parents, her grandparents, Bob and Janet Krantz, and Mickey and Jerry Quigley; her sisters Rachael (Mark) Herrscher, and Amy Krantz; her nephew and niece Josh and Addie and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her Aunt Bonnie Quigley Villalobos. The family would like to thank the many doctors and nurses who were instrumental in her care. Particularly Drs. Kfoury, Renlund, Fisher and IMC Heart Failure Transplant Team; Dr. Richard Frame with Utah Cancer Center; Jan and Dr. Katie Carlson at Valley Mental Health Services; Dr. Clara Michael; Beth Barrett; the Intermountain Homecare Hospice and to so many family members and friends for their tender mercies. Special love and gratitude goes to Allen, Linda, Megan and Melissa Harris for without their gift of life, we would not have had the joy of Heather for the last 16 years. It takes a village.

It was also my dear mothers birthday yesterday! Happy birthday mom. I love you! hope you liked the hotel room us kids got for you and decorated for your birthday!!!

I've been tagged!

Okay, I've been tagged by my cousin Kristi. So here goes....
The Rules: Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours. Tag 6 fellow bloggers by linking them.
Leave a comment on each of the tagged blogger's blogs letting them know they've been tagged.

#1. I love, LOVE blogging. I am always on the computer checking if someone has commented, or if someone posted something new.

#2. I have a guilty pleasure of watching The Hills, on MTV. I am watching every episode, and I watch them over and over. I love the stupid gossip they talk about and all the back stabbing. They think there problems are so big!

3. I like watching football with my hunky hubby! I am a big fan of the Utes! And not so much of BYU. We love the Carolina Panthers, and of course Polamalu of the STEELERS!!!!

#4. I love reading the smutty magazines. I have a weekly subscription to US weekly. It is my favorite Magazine, then people. But my grandma has a subscription to that one, so unless I am desperate I will wait for her to give it to me when she's done. Along with that, I love knowing what is going on in the celeb world. I love knowing who is dating who, and who is cheating on who, and who is giving birth, and so on. I even will check up on People.com once in a while too.

#5. I love looking at homes for sale. We are in no way able to buy one right now with what is going on, but I love looking on line, and looking in better homes and gardens to see how I can decorate my house. I have all my colors picked out for all the rooms, even for the rooms for the kids we are going to have. I know, and we're not even pregnant. But I love looking for furniture, and for cribs, and beds, dressers, and kitchen appliances, and couches, and color scheme's.

#6. I love scrapbooking. I do it online, I do it with paper, I scrapbook everything. Holiday's, birthdays, a get together, or just cute picutres of me and sam. See some of these random examples. I love doing it now that I've found a cute website to do it. ( I use scrapblog.com)

Okay enough about me. I tag the following.... Kaylene, Rachel, Lindsey (in AZ), Jenny Smith, Amy Hanson, and Whitney Mapson! You all get to do this now!!!

APML Leukemia

My Neighbor's boy just came down with this type of Leukemia. It is so sad, he is 3 years old, and trying to battle an adult form of Leukemia. Please, look at his website, his cute smile and personality, will just warm your heart. Please if you have money, or time or kind thoughts please visit his site, and leave comments or give blood, or anything. Or just read it, and hug your kids a little tighter, and keep a constant eye on them. Take a look at lil Austin's bruises, and his symptoms, and keep an eye on those precious little ones. Take a look at his webiste...

Labor Day

So we had a great Labor day. Well let me start with the night before. So we were just in the living room about 9 at night, talking, we had the lights off for some reason, and all the sudden we see someone walking through our yard with a dog, mind you it was RAINING, like pooring out side, why are you outside walking your dog, in the rain I'm thinking. Then all the sudden he's walking through our flowers. I am like what the! Then, he turns his back to us, and his coat says SHERIFF! I was like Sammy that is a sheriff walking with a dog and they are looking for someone. So he runs and opens the door and says whats up guys? They are like we are looking for someone. So he comes in and says lock all the doors! There is a fugitive lose! So we lock them all and we are looking out the windows at all the cop cars in our neighborhood. And then our neighbors are outside, so Sammy goes out to talk to them, and they tell us a story of how it kinda happend.
Well, this "guy" came up to their door, and their little boy who is probably 9 or 10 is walking up to the door and the guy starts yelling is your mom or dad home? so the dad comes up to the door just as the boy is opening it. And he sas can you give me a ride, cuz my car broke down with my family in it. My neighbors wife is yelling NO don't give him a ride. So he says no and slams the door, then all the sudden the police are around. So my neighbor sends his two boys out to look at the next door neighbors house to see if he went over there, cuz they were gone for about a week. So as they are outside, the police stop them, and ask if they have seen this guy and show a picture. They were like yea, he just stopped at my house. So he goes home and tells his parents, and they lock all the doors.
Meanwhile Omini (11) and Kaylee(5) and Taylor (2) are all around and we arent tryin to talk about it, and act normal beacause it is bedtime! And they can feel the excitement! And then my neighbors come over and say it was just a drug deal gone bad up on the busy road, and they caught the guy. so WHEW! But they kids are still excited! Omi and Kaylee have a hard time going to sleep, Kaylee ends up sleeping in with Grandma Peg and Omini wakes up in the night and can't get back to sleep.
Finally everything is in order, and we all fall asleep. Rachel and Jeff get back from New York in the morning, monday Laborday morning, so we decide to head out to breakfast. But before breakfast we had to dress up and get married. This is Kaylee and Taylor.

So we are just sitting at Dee's, Sammy is in the middle of a story, and he just stops and stares. And says, WO, that profile just looked like the prophet. We just kinda laughed and were like where? He was all, comin in the door, we looked and looked, and were like you're just seein things. Then all the sudden the prophet and his wife just walk in the door of Dee's! How stinking cool is that. My mom is all thats because that is the prophet SAM! haha, so I say let me and Omi out, I want to go shake his hand. (plus he is in my stake and so we love to see him and talk to him, cuz he recognizes us) and I said hey, just wondering if we could shake your hand, my lil bro and sister came with me and omi. And Omi was kinda hanging back and was a little star struck, and I was like this is my step-son Omini. President Monson looks at him, and gets his eyes all wide and says to Omini, hey I've got something for you. Leans down to Omini's level and wiggles his ears at him. And says to Omini, I only do that for boys in yellow shirts. (Omi was wearing a yellow one obviously) and Omini was still star struck and was like oh wow. And says, I saw you do that in conference once, wow. Thanks. And we walked away, and sat down to eat.
How cool is that, we got the propthet at Dee's. There wasnt a lot of security, in face he and his wife just came in alone, I am sure there was some around the restaurant bein like normal people so we wouldn't know they were there. But he didnt come in with any secret service, he just wanted a nice lil breakfast with his wife. How cute. As soon as people saw us get up and shake his hand, then alot of other people got up to talk to him. And he took his time with them, and was so nice and caring, he took time to talk to everyone, and pose for some pictures, so I didn't want to bother him anymore, so I just snapped this one from our seat in the restaurant.

Family Reunion!

So we had a Harmon Family reunion this past weekend, up in Provo Canyon at a park called Vivianne Park. It was Sammy's great grandpa and his sisters, and everyones kids and grandkids and great grandkids and some were even great grandkids (like Omini) it was really cool, to meet aunts, uncles, cousins, second cousins, and family. It was a fun afternoon. Here is some of our pictures!
